Hi Shannon, I'd say don't be nervous, but heck, I was! Of course it was all for nothing (except I probably burned a few more calories) because my surgery went fine. I always say the week before surgery was harder than the week after (it was for me anyway). Keep it positive and and that includes having ONLY supportive people around you. You've made a wonderful and couragous decision to improve your health (of course in retrospect it seems like a "no brainer" to me now).
