Got your message about internal hernia symptoms, but am unable to mail out of OH because I have an Asian OH. My symptoms were sudden severe abdominal pain and cold sweat. I was only able to get some relief by sitting in the fetal position. Some of the pain appeared to have been caused by trapped gas because I was even feeling pain in my mid back and spine (from the gas pushing). Pressure also seemed to make the pouch or canal smaller making it difficult to eat. Always seemed to have at least some minor pain when sleeping unless with knees drawn to chest. It was painful to lay down after eating for about two months.
All of this was intermittent. Docs were never certain that I actually had a hernia until they went in. Felt much better and more energetic after surgery.
