Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Make sure you walk, and keep up your breathing exercise. YOU CAN DO THIS! See you on the other side.

dear cynthia.. i am all the way in chattanooga tn but i would love to be your email angel if you like...i too have no caregiver at home but i am doing well..had surgery weds the 24th of july and just got home yesterday , the 26th...also i had my surgery done in atlanta not in chattanooga so i had a long drive home too...2 and a half hour drive and an hours wait for a pharmacy filling of my pain med lol...get that sucker filled asap and take a dose as soon as you are ready to go out the door...my trip would have been easier if i had taken it closer to my leaving the hospital...slept so well in my own bed last night...and had chicken broth for supper lol...water goes down well if at room temp or just barely cool...also warm goes down well...but ice cold drinks make me spasm big time , even in tiny sips...drinking koolaide made with splenda today along with h20...you will be so glad you have done this once it is over and your post op journey has started...i am so filled with enthusiasm and hope...you will do great i know...my sister picked me up for surgery and a friend brought me home...i have many angels , lol, two of them called heidi and donna!!! all my love and support, deb

Good luck on your upcoming surgery. I attend the Staplemates meetings that are held on the first Wednesday of each month at Methodist Hospital in SA. They are at 7 p.m., 5th floor of the North part of the hospital. I would love to meet you. I hope you are safe and recover quickly...My surgery is on the 6th of August. God Bless.
