Melissa is doing GREAT she is LOVING her ice chips and is looking forward to coming home tomorro and getting on her lap top. She sounds so UPbeat it was good to talk to her this am. She loses her pain pump today and gets switched over to the vicodins. She came through with flying colors as we all KNEW she would!!!!!!~

I'm so happy to hear everything went well. I'll continue to pray for your speedy recovery. I had orginally planned on being at next weeks support group, but I guess neither of us will probably be up to that, huh???? I look forward to sharing our journey's. I only have two more days! You pave the way and I'll cover the back!!!

^^^^ANGEL NOTICE^^^^^ (ha I love it)I just talked with Melissas mom and she just got out of the recovery room and is doing GREAT. Keep her in your thoughts as the post ops know she isnt outta the woods yet. I am so PROUD of her! The Dr said everything went exactly as expected. I will update when I know more......CONGRATULATIONS GIRL YOU DID IT!!!!!!!

Melissa, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine in November 2000, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.

Congrats on your big day. You mentioned BTC...are you having surgery there? Im scheduled for March 1st at BTC, Ill look for you just in case :)

Hi Melissa, Best of luck to you on your upcoming surgery!! I remember how happy, nervous, scared and excited I was just before mine. It is the best thing u can do for yourself, it is hard in the beginning but you'll do GREAT! You're in my thoughts and prayers.
