I talked to Julie Saturday. She had her surgery on Thursday as planned and it went fine. It was scheduled for noon but got bumped back to 3, and wasn't to her room until about 8 pm that night. She was released on Saturday instead of Friday because she was in a lot of pain. She didn't walk around as much as she thought she was supposed to, so that contributed to a lot of the extra pain. She is home and in good spirits, trying to get as much as the liquids in as possible.

HOW YOU DOIN? HOPEFULLY THE PRE SURGERY JITTERS DON'T HAVE YOU GOING CRAZY JUST YET. I SENT A E-MAIL TO JUDY ABOUT THE NEW STAPLING MEATHOD, SHE SAID DIDN'T HAVE ANY MORE INFORMATION, JUST THAT IT REDUCED THE RISK OF LEAKS DURING SURGERY WHILE THEY ARE SECTIONING. SORRY I COULDN'T GET MORE INFO FOR YOU. TAKE CARE, LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED TO CHAT. I WISH YOU AN UNEVENTFUL SURGERY AND SPEEDY RECOVERY.
