Hi All. Well I went and visited Jennie in the hospital. She is doing soooooo well. If she did not have the nose tube you would have thought she had a minor procedure done. Her pain is managable and she is being a good girl using her spirometer and coughing when she should. I must say she looked wonderful and I only hope I do as well as she is. SHe is being moved to another room tomorrow and I will give you the new room number then. You can always call the hospital and ask what room she is in and they will transfer you. Her hubby Keith was there with their little baby Issac. OOO I got to have a hold - he is gorgeous. I am going to see jennie tomorrow. She is hoping to have the grape juice test - and if no leaks appear I think she is having her NG tube out yahhhhhhh. I will keep all updated. Her angel

Hey everyone. I am Jennie's angel and just writing a note to update you all. I spoke to her last night after her surgery. She is doing great!!!!! Of course a little sore and she sounded so drunk lol. Of course to be expected. Her surgery was just over an hour and she came through brilliantly. I am going to visit her this afternoon. She was not up out of bed last night. Dr Courcy said he would have her walking today. She said she was recieving pain shots through her IV - not a pain pump. Hopefully she is up and walking today. God bless Jennie and heres to a speedy recovery. I will meet you on the other side of WLS next tuesday July 22nd. OMG thats next week!!!!!!! arghhhhhhhhhhhh Hugs Your angel

My prayers will be with you as you go through the surgery and recovery. May your strength be restored; your recovery be swift and your tender heart be renewed.

Jennie, I am so late! I know you have already gone to bed, and we are also in different time zones - I am so sorry. I meant to get to you before your surgery, but now that I am late (my friends would be so surprised!) I will send all my thoughts and energy to your dreams - may they be as restful and calm as a newborn in her mother's arms. You are safe and protected and watched over by your God. He would never let you walk this path alone. I will be thinking of you tomorrow, also safe in your surgeon's capable hands. And when you wake, welcome to a new day!
