Teresa - Hello fellow Marylander! Please join the Maryland site for information on local support group meetings. I wish you the best at your PCP appointment. I know how nerve racking it is waiting for appointments/approvals, etc. I'm almost six months out and down 90 lbs. I feel great and would go through the surgery again in a minute! It has changed my life. Keep us informed as to the status of your journey.
