Patience, Grasshopper! Liane, you're on a plateau, girlfriend. This is the amazing time when your body adjusts to all that weight you've been losing. Check your measurements and you'll likely find you've been losing inches! Don't worry! Stick with your eating plan and this will pass soon, I promise!

being a pre-op, take this for what it's worth. I am a sugar addict (chocolate addict actually!) and have satisfied my need for chocolate with some awesome sugar-free chocolate wafers with nutrasweet - you can buy them at Target and Shopko (probably wal-mart too) in the hanging bagged candy area. I also LOVE over-ripe bananas, cantaloupe, and strawberries. The cantaloupe and the strawberries are low in carbs and full of vitamins, the bananas are great for getting in potassium <sic>. Cool whip is also fairly acceptable if you over-look the chemicals. It's very low in sugar. Have you tried Blue Bunny sugar free ice cream? They are AWESOME and no nasty after-taste. Hope these help you to over-come! Best of luck,

Liane, as a fellow non-dumper, I feel your pain! Read over my profile and you can feel mine, too. *grin* Go to WalMart and get yourself some LifeSaver sugar free butter toffees, they are wonderful and really help me a lot! Best wishes to you!
