Update - I just spoke with Lori's mother and she made it through the surgery just fine. She was just getting to her room at Georgetown around 2:30 pm. Her mother said that her surgery did take a little longer than expected, but Lori is a trooper and I am sure that she will do just great!! Welcome to the other side Lori!!

Because we'll be having surgery on the same day, please know that you and your surgical team will be in my prayers. It's hard to believe that it's so close to happening. Please keep in touch when you are post-op. Chances are we'll be going through many of the same things. Good luck. (P.S. - You're right. Cigna IS weird.) ;-)
