Hi Tamekia, I want to wish you good luck and smooth sailing with your surgery. I just had mine last Tuesday and I can tell already it is going to be the best thing I could do for myself. Make certain you get some sugar free popsicles (they are life savers) and count as fluid. My doctor puts everyone on Prevacid the first month (sprinkle it on a spoon of food~applesauce is best) and I have had no nausea. See you on the losing side.
