Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).

Missy, Wanting to wish you good luck on your upcoming day, it will be here before you know it. I was at St'V's also and really love the place and the care given to me. I am 2 weeks out and have lost 22lbs. Soon you too will be a "Loser". I have also found another support group that is wonderful www.wlsindy.com many of them are on here too maybe you can check it out, I am listed on there as MissyW. Good Luck to you.
