hi april, the psych evaluation is to make sure you are doing this wls for the right reasons,and that you fully understand what your post op life will be like forever and that you are commited to the change.. it was a test of about 500 questions and then you talk to the dr. after for a while.. i have done a lot of reasearch so by the time i met with the psych dr. i was ready for this life altering change.. i wish you the very best of luck.. have a great holiday season.. take care, jeanne/ca. lap rny 1-16-03.. :>
