6 months - 26 weeks down 94 lbs

Ok well I am at the 6 month mark the honeymoon is now over and I am super happy to be at this mark.  Some how I grew .5" so that made my BMI on my TANIA report better.  I weighed in yesterday at 146 lbs and my BMI was 24.4.  I am just thinking I am standing tall now with my head up high. (not the nose) Let me post my measurements for the last 6 months.

A grand total of 80.75 inches that is over 6 feet of lost fat.  I am so happy that I was able to do this.  I want to thank my PCP for planting that seed in my head to do WLS.  I didn't want to do it at first but because he planted that seed I did my research and did the rny.  I am so glad I did.  I feel great, I look great and for the first time I actually love myself.  I am not trying to be vain it is just how I feel. 

I lost another 4 lbs this week however because I gained 3 lbs last week I am really only counting 1 lb lost and that is all good for me.  I need to get back to basics.  I have been eating foods not good for me so before work today I went to the store and I bought me some baby carrots, Wheat Thins Fiber (I will only eat 8 a day) and some cheese o ya and some cream cheese spread for my carrots.  BTW it is low fat.  I just need to leave the dam mochi crunch and maui potato chips alone.  I notice I only snack on these foods when no one is around.  I don't do it when my co-workers are around, the children the dh and expecially not in front of friends.  I guess I need to tie a friend to me so I will follow the rules. 

I told my nut what I eat and even told her about the treat I take.  She told me that its not good however I don't go over the calorie intake.  I told her I make room for cheating.  If I don't eat enough during the day I will cheat at the end.  You know the 3 squares of Herseys Dark Chocolate that has 180 calories.  Well if my calorie intake is only 700 I take that and bam 880.  With in range.  I know it is bad but hey I am human.  This wls is not supose to be a huge diet that you are never allowed to cheat on.  Its a way of life and if I want to eat a chocolate chip cookie I will however that means more veggs no carbs like crackers that day.  No big deal.

Ok well my PT traininer wants me to make time to exercise.  I have be slacking but I been so busy and running around.  I don't watch TV very much now days.  Before I was on that couch 24/7 on weekends.  Now I am lucking to get in 1 hour.  I love my life.

I will check in next week to let you know how my blood work goes.  I met with Dr. Fowler on Friday than on Monday with my Plastic Surgery Consultant.  I can't wait.
