Hello All I heard from Nancy today on my answering machine. She is out of the hospital and recouping at the Sommerset Suites. Her sister-in-law is with her. She sounded a bit tired, but that is to be expected. She feels she will be home on Monday at some time. When I called Nancy back, she was resting so I am hoping to hear from her this evening. All in all, things are going well for her. More later.

Hi. Just got off the phone with Nancy and she sounds great. She is having some trouble with gas pushing it's way around her inards and causing a bit of a problem when she breathes. The top of her incision is sore, but other than that she is not even sure that Dr. Rumsey even did anything! She has no desire to eat which she says is so amazing. She is on ice chips and juice now. She says that after the initial wake up period from the anesthesia, the surgery was a breeze. This should help us pre-ops that might have any fears before we reach our day. Of course, things don't always go perfect, but on the hold, I think she would do it again in a minute. Not her quote, but that is my feeling. That's all for now. I will post again next time I talk to her. Everyone have a good evening.

I just spoke with Nancy last night and she sounds much better than yesterday afternoon when we spoke. She's in good spirits and is using the pain pump:) why else is it there??? when I talked to her yesterday afternoon she was telling me how it hurts alot, then last night she was like this is a breeze:) morphene hit I guess:):) She's doing great no complications during surgery, GOD surely guided Dr. Rumsey's hands yesterday:) I see him today so maybe he'll tell me how she is, really. GOD BLESS ALL and thank you for all your support...If you want to email me that's fine I can fax stuff down to her sister in law and she will make sure Nancy gets your well wishes and prayers. Hi Everyone I just got off the phone with Nancy and she is doing great. I almost feel like she will get up and go home tomorrow! Her surgery was 2 hours and uneventfull. Her incision is sore, but other than that, she doesn't feel any different. She thought that maybe her stomach would feel different. But, no it doesn't. She says the hotel bed sucks, but the hospital bed is great. She wants to take it back to the hotel with her. Lots of luck. Anyway, I will talk to her again tomorrow and keep everyone posted.
