Hey TJ, congrats! I'm so glad to hear you're doing well 1 year post op. To fit in a booth AND to not need a seat belt extension! WOW! In my dreams! My surgery is Open RNY 9/21/01...say a little prayer for me. I'm also a nurse. NICU...I think if anyone is going to have complications, it'll be us, don't you think??? Oh well. Onward to a healthier life. Best wishes.

TJ, Glad to see you are back on the message board. Sorry to hear that your hospital experience left a lot to be desired. The important thing now is that you can get on with your weight loss and then you will forget about all of that other stuff. Please keep us posted on your progress. You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry you had such a bad time. The staff sounded horrible and I cannot imagine such a nightmare. sounds as if there is alot of negelience there. Malpractice ? I would say so. good luck TJ and I hope you get better real soon. I will keep you in my prayers. I am at the 30 more hours countdown.

He also said that the wound looks really great. He got out of the house yesterday...felt real good. He has an appt. to surgeon on 18th for suture removal and first weigh in post -op. he also said that he will post soon. Well, that's all for now.
