Hey Carol, dont be so hard on yourself. We had surgery on our stomachs not our heads. It is hard, I struggle each day with the carbs and tell myself that the next day, I will eat protein only, only to repeat the same bad behavior. This is a lifetime journey, just jump back on and think of your life and your health before you reach for the carbs. Think of what is really important here. I too am climbing back aboard the protein train. That is what makes this site so great, we can all encourage each other. Good luck and God Bless you on your journey. Sara

Carol, you are doing fine, you took the first step by admitting you need support. You also took the next step by asking for it. You are not doing bad, look you have already lost 110lbs. This you should be proud of, you have made a great accomplishment. Now for the carb attack let it be just that and get back on the protein wagon. I know that is much easier said than done as I myself am trying very hard to stay on the protein train until my surgery. But it is so well worth it as I see the pounds coming off. I will keep you in my prayers for the strength to fight your own inner thoughts, and I will be praying for the power to eat the correct foods. I will also be praying for your continued success. Best wishes to you as you continue on your journey.

~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all

Carol - Congratulations on your WL success. I too am helping my mom through the endless paperwork and approval cycle for her to get the surgery. Take care.
