Hi Pam how sweet of you to respond. I believe that Dr. Owens is with Dr. Oliak in the same suite? Anyhow, I very much appreciate the information, my surgery has been moved to Jan 9th, so soon i'll be joining you. God Bless You, you look just fabulous.

Hi Pam, I just read your profile, Congratulations on your successful weight loss program!!! Hats off to you sweety! You and I pretty much started this round of weight loss at the same weight. I was 264 (at my fattest I was 354, 2 years ago). I am 6 ft. and BMI was 35.6. I had Diabetes type 2 (very out of control); sleep apnea, high blood pressure, high cholesterol) This has been a godsend for me. I had surgery on July 27th. I am now down into the 190's (I haven't been under 200 in over 20 years) and am just feeling fabulous. I have 15 pounds to go to goal! I'm interested in finding out what you are doing "on Maintenance". WAY TO GO PAM! You must feel so AWESOME!

My prayers will be with you as you go through the surgery and recovery. May your strength be restored; your recovery be swift and your tender heart be renewed.

Hi Pam, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous. Of course, it was all for nothing (except I burned a few more calories) because my surgery went fine. For me, the week before my surgery was harder than the week after. Right after, I was more sore than in pain; nothing that can't be handled. Remember to keep it positive. That means positive, supportive people around you. The negative ones are just ill-informed. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,
