Hey Sherill, I know you are scared but believe me it is all going to be ok. There is some pain, but that is expected, I had an open VBG on 6/11/01 and I feel great! When they get you up to walk just keep on walking, that make it heal faster and you will feel better. you are in my prayers! Good luck, Lisa Murphy
