Best of luck on the 15th Yvonne, Dr. Gluck is definitely worth the drive! I came down for my surgery from the Upper Peninsula, a 6-hour drive, and my daughter and I then stayed in the Muskegon area in a hotel for the 1st week postop. I had my VSG on 10/30/07 and am doing great, am down almost 50 pounds since surgery, and have not had to deal with nausea, strictures, food intolerances, etc. The day after surgery tends to be a bit rough for some VSG patients, but this will pass and the nurses will take great care of you!
