Anyone had a c-section before surgery? How does the pain compare?

I had a c-section 2 years ago. I recovered very well. I had minimal pain and was able to get around fairly easily after surgery. I was wondering if any one had a c-section and then open RNY and if so, how would you say the pain and recovery compare? Or don't they?
