Has anyone used BC/BS USAA for WLS?

Has anyone used this insurance? I have selected a surgeon in San Antonio, Texas and although my primary insurance company has a specific exclusion, hubby's insurance (BC/BS USAA) will allow it if medically necessary. The policy is adminstered by BC/BS for USAA. I have heard from my dr.'s office that they are now cracking down on this and they believe I have a good shot at being approved (310 lbs, 5 ft. 6 in., 50 BMI) but I would like to hear from anyone else that has had any experiences with them.
