How long after dialation should I still be having pain?

I had a balloon dialation 2 weeks ago, and I am in severe pain. It has reduced to just the left side now, but I can't take it much more!! My gastro. doc didn't think I should be having any pain, and my surgeon, just says yep, you'll be sore for a while!! This is NOT soreness people, this is PAIN! It hurts just like it did post-op from open RNY. I've been trying to swallow Tylenol gel-caps, but I'm not really getting any relief from the pain. Any suggestions? Thanks.
