I am now 8 days post op, having had lap gallbladder and lap RNY on 1/31/03.

After a 4 night hospital stay, I came home expecting to be greatly improved by this time. I am having problems with severe burning pain at a couple of incision sites on my left side. The Dr. feels it is from internal stitches that will dissolve at 7 - 10 days. I find almost no comfortable way to walk, lay down, or just move in general. I'm wearing a binder - have tried both with and without it. I have to hold my hand tightly to the painful spot to try to hold it together to get around at all. Has anyone else had this? Any suggestions for relief?
