Vocational Rehabilitation???

Hi I have a friend who was on disability because of a stroke and other previous health problems. She started college trying to get her life together and they took her check. Vocational Rehab was helping with the college thing well when they took her check she tried to get a couple jobs and basically couldn't because of her weight and disability. Sounds to me like discrimination but not easily proved. We have discussed surgery and she really wants it but since she lost her Disability they took her medical card and medicare from her. I have heard Voc Rehab has helped people and asked her to talk to them but she is afraid because when they took her Check She got a letter from Voc Rehan that said since she didn't get disability any more they couldn't help her as much as they where sounds crazy but it is true. Anyone out there use Voc Rehab and if so can you tell me what she needs to be prepared for, and what to say to them? She is about 315 and LOTS of comorbs. Please help, Thanks Shell
