has anybody had so much pain around large LAP incision that they can't do anything 3

pain meds upon coming home from RNY , LAP kept me mobile (I'm 100 lb over and in pretty good health). However, on day 11 through day 22 the incisional pain around the big incision is so disabling when I move that it's hard to believe it is normal.It's not red,no fever and sitting with a hotpad is OK but when I move it's searing. None of the other incisions ever hurt. Doc says it's normal until stitch pops but no one I know ever had this. Any thoughts?
