heartburn/indigestion (burning sensation)

I am 2wks post-op gastric sleeve. I have horrible heartburn/indigestion. A burning sensations when I drink liquids. Even after I haven't had anything for a while. It does not do it when I have soups or jello. Am I doing something wrong???
