What is this pain?

I am two years post op and for two years I have been getting this horrible pain! I can feel it comming on, it starts in my stomach area and radiates to my lower back on the right side. Sometimes it's after I eat, sometimes its in the middle of the night, theres no ryme or reason to it. I have to stop and take deep breaths till it goes away. Sometimes its only a minute, sometimes longer but today I had a really bad one and they seem to be getting more frequent. Does anyone know what this is? I have talked to my surgeon but he doesn't know. HELP!!
