2wks post-op & in PAIN

I am 2 wks post-op tomorrow and have the WORST pain in my left side (a little behind the large laproscopic incision). It gets a little better when I lay down or stand but sitting and getting up is painful. I did pick my 16month old up 3 times since surgery (he's devastated mommy cant hold him-huge momma's boy =( wanting me 24-7 and always GREAT sleeper not so much lately)...but would that cause it or something else? Im a little worried, but dont see the doc for my check-up till thurs.?
