Do post-op RYN patients need to wear medic-alert bracelets?

Awhile back, I read a post from a post-op RNY patient who was involved in a car wreak. While at the emergency room she experienced a horrible dumping episode when she received an injection. Do post-op RNY patients need to wear medic alert bracelets?
