Has anyone experienced a bladder infection right after surgery?

I am 5 days post op from lap rny. The pain has been tolerable, except for a stabbing pain in my lower left abdomen. It is hard to be able to stand straight or walk without supporting my side. Today I have noticed a tinge of dark color when I wipe from urination. And my dain tube has had more fluid today than it has. Could this be a bladder infection, or is this normal?
