I am having pain/left side where the port was place anyone else have complications?

I had the lap band and wondered if anyone has had problems with the port area. I have to go for a CT Scan this week. It is swollen and painful.....??? I feel alone. It is 3 weeks and I am still at home not able to go to work yet. Of course I am 56 years old. Everything else went perfect. Thanks Brenda Ure
