Drinking water hurts....(1 week post-op) any one else have this problem?

It is as if the moment I drink water all of this gas starts up. I can't pass the gas and it often hurts so much that I have to hold on to something. HOWEVER, I can eat everything on my list of stage 3 foods and drink milk just fine. It's like I'm scared to drink water, but I know I have to so I end up forcing myself. Should I be worried? Has anyone else experienced this?...Thank you in advanced =). -Jessica-
