Two days out and was wondering about gas x.Too soon?

Is it too soon to chew on a gas x .the pain is rumbling around and i can hear it also like my stomach is growling but it is gas.can i take gas x 2 days out.it is soo uncomfortable.thanks in advance for any help.i know the OH family can help.
