Sharp Pain near Ribs, what can it be?

I am almost 2 weeks post op from Lap RNY with gallbladder removed. I am on a soft food diet. Two days ago, I went for a walk with my son. Half way home, I started getting a sharp pain right at the inner edge of my right rib cage (but its not the ribs hurting). It felt better with rest. Today, I stood up and it was back but sharper. Now, everytime I stand up it hurts horribly. When I lie down, it seldom hurts. I had loose stools on days 6 and 7 but haven't had a BM since. Could that be it up so high in my ribs? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Christine
