Can We Take Muscle Relaxants?

I was in a car accident Friday, caused by a drunk driver. I am very stiff and sore, and seeing my doctor today for follow-up care. I am taking Percocet now for pain. Are there any type of muscle relaxers I can take? I know we can't take asprins or motrin. I need to find a good non-narcotic pain reliever so I can return to work.
