Is there an age limit?

I am still in my 50's, but not much longer. My BMI is over 50. Tried and failed soooo many times, but you all know what that is like. This seems like my last chance. Are there people that have had bariatric surgery in my age group. I am just starting my search and have not found anything yet about age. I have called my insurance company and was told that they do pay for this surgery. That is as far as I have gotten. Thank You for your help.
