anyone every heard of bile salt suppliments to help prevent gallbladder problems?

I read an artical in a family circle magazine recently that talked about a mother and daughter that had this surgery. It mensioned taking bile salt suppliments for the first 6 months after surgery to help prevent the gallbladder from going bad from the drastic weight loss. Has anyone heard of this or tried it. If so where do you get such suppliments?
