Has anyone experienced excrutiating pain in their lower belly area?

I am 12 days post-op and I had my surgery laproscopic RNY. When I cough or sneeze, I literally have to hug by lower belly really hard or I will start crying because the pain is so bad?!?!?! Also, that same area of skin is completely NUMB!?!?! This is the only complication that I have had, so I am sure that it is not too bad. Could you please write to me and let me know if you have experienced a similar experience. Thank you so much in advance!
