Are their any 22 year olds SMO have surgery? I have concerns

I am post RNY, and I would do it again in a heartbeat, and I am doing great. However My daughter is SMO and is 22 and is thinking about having lap band, because she is afraid of RNY. I have given her all the suppoort and shown her this site, but she would like to hear about the experiances of other 22 year olds, or near that age, their sucesses and problems, and she thinks 22 may be to young for such a drastic change. She has tried so many diets, and like the rest of us lost and then regained. I konw the choice is ultimaly hers, but if any one would share their thoughts and feelings we would both very much appriciate it. Thankyou
