What is this burning sensation I'm feeling in my stomach?

Hi guys, At 5 am last night, I was still awake and got hungry. So i decided to eat a little more out of the chicken rice bowl i had eaten for dinner. So i had a little, not too much, but I ate a good amount of it. Afterwards I decided to just take my multi + 3 calciums like I usually do. Anyway I drank maybe like 2 ounces of water with it, and I felt a little pain. Sort of like heartburn, but more burning but right at the same place that heartburn is usually at. Now i used to have heartburn all the time, but since surgery (4 months post op) i have not had heartburn one time at all. anyway I fell asleep and I woke up 5 hours later and having the same burning/heartburn/pain pressure in the same spot, like at the best of my esophagus or something. Anyway I dont know what this is? Is it a stricture possibly? Is it actually heartburn? Is it my vitamins that dissolved and still sitting in my stomach? I'm drinking water now trying to flush it out, but the pain is not going away at all. I dont get it. can you please tell me what you think? (i just paged my surgeon so he'll be calling me real soon) thanks guys
