Too little weight loss at almost 8 weeks post op?

This week I will be 8 weeks post op and I have only lost 28.1 pounds, with the first 14 gone in the first week following surgery. My scale is moving very slowly even though I exercise at least 2 times a week, but on average I'm on my bike 3 to 4 times a week, and strictly following my surgeon's diet plan. I also have degenerative joint disease which makes exercising difficult, but I'm doing it anyway. I'm getting at least 60-70 grams of protein, and at least 60 ounces of water. I take my multivitamin, calcium, and 2 concentrated fruits and veggie chewables a day. Is there anything else I can do to help my weight loss, or am I losing at a "normal" pace? Thanks for any help anyone can give me, even it is words of encouragement. I'm feeling somewhat a failure at this weightloss thing again.
