it was two big hernias and had several smaller holes poking through. My surgeon used mesh laproscopily to repair it before I had 8 lbs of fat removed with a panniculectomy. Today I was taking a nap and several times I woke up with a small cry because my abdominal area convulsed with a spasm. It jerked me awake and hurt like heck! I had these when I had my first surgery and the doctor prescribed oxyfast, a liquid form of oxycodone. I called my pcp (the same one who prescribed it two years ago) but apparently they won't prescribe any form of oxycodone now. Does anyone know if there is something I can ask for that will help these spasms? I am afraid to fall asleep because I will jerk awake with them. Anyone experience this?
