I am going to purchase private insurance BUT!!!

I heard that with Kaiser you need to be a member a minimum of one year... Who do you feel is the best company to go with? Kaiser, Aetna, Blue Shield??? I am waiting to purchase until I hear from anyone that has any suggestions. Also does anyone know if the state Medi-cal I believe would cover the cost? Thank You ...
