My insurance requires approval by Intracorp. What do I do?

My Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance goes through Inrtacorp for approval. The insurance lady at the surgeons office said that they can be very hard to deal with. Now I am afraid that I may not be approved. Any suggestions on what I need to do. My PCP has still not written me a letter to send them about medical necessity. Everything else is done. Can anyone tell me what might help my chances or if you have been approved by them? Thanks a lot!
