What exactly does an enlarged gallbladder mean?

I was just recently diagnosed with an ulcer and possible IBS -- but also they xrays, ct scans showing an enlarged gallbladder -- should i be concerned with this now? keep tabs on it? is it just result of all the pains and issues I am having with the irritable bowel syndrome because i was not eating anything due to the extreme pain? just need something to ease the mind a bit.
