Does anyone know if Dr Courcoulas does Transections?

I have a consult scheduled with her on 4/29/02 and just heard from a friend of mine who is also going to Dr. C. My friend said he didn't think she did transections which is what I want (Open RNY Transected). From all the research I've done I've concluded that is the most effective way to reduce the risk of Staple Line Disruptions. I really don't want to have to try to find another surgeon at this late stage but if Dr. C. definitely does not do transections then I will have to find another surgeon. Also Can anyone tell me what pre op tests she requires? I know it's different for everyone depending on their specific circumstances but this will give me some idea what to expect. Thanks alot.
