I am considering joining my local YMCA, can anyone give me some info?

I really want to take a water aerobics class and maybe some yoga. I am a new postie so I don't wanna overdo it. I've never done anything with the YMCA so I don't know how it works at all. Do you become a member and pay one price for everything or per class? about how much does it cost? Anyone have a good experience with them? I'm in Oklahoma but want to hear from anyone.
