When do the stomach aches go away?

I have been having stomach aches for about two weeks now not bad but aggravating. If I drink a gulp of water it hurts also. I have been on the liquid diet my doctor perscribes up to 4 weeks post op. I can hardly stand them now as they taste so sweet. Will the aches go away soon? Other then that I feel fine. My other question is how do you know when you are full. I can drink a whole cup of cream soup in about 20 minutes. Should I measure what I eat so I won't overeat?
