Accepatance by new insurance?

I had my surgery on 4-20-01 and am doing great. Down 95 pounds! But I have lost my husbands insurance due to a job change. I have recently gotten a new job that offers medical insurance. WILL I be able to qualify for this insurance or is WLS considered a pre-exsisting condition? I am worried that I might be denied coverage and I really want reconstructive surgery once I am closer to goal? If anyone has been in the same boat, I sure would appreciate some feed back. Thank You.
