Has anyone been cancelled from there insurance before surgery?

I was approved for my WLS by my husbands insurance carrier, unfortunately his contract ended and his company switched insurance carriers. So I decided to take the insurance coverage offered by my employer, it happens to be the same insurance that approved my surgery when they insured me through my husband. Does anyone know if the approval will carry over to the new plan????
